Charity Dinner 24th August 2024 6pm-10pm

Defending communities

Fighting crime is a vital goal for a well-ordered society. The Mustaqbill (Future) Foundation's volunteers have years of experience working in the Britwell and Northborough Estates, which encounter some of the highest deprivation levels in the Thames Valley. The first step in rehabilitation is to work with people who are most at risk of offending. They are often are jobless and homeless. We offer a variety of services to at-risk individuals.

First Steps For Families

This project helps troubled families to help improve parenting skills and to strengthen their capacity to prevent young people from becoming involved in crime and anti-social behaviour.

Supported Housing

We provide accommodation for at-risk people and support them to keep a stable home. This is done by:

  • providing short-term accommodation to homeless young people
  • helping residents to develop the skills they need to live independently, maintain their own tenancies, get into education, training or employment, and stop offending.

Early Intervention Service

We get in early with troubled young people who have either been excluded from school or are at risk of being excluded, by giving them the chance to gain qualifications, skills and confidence so they can change their lives for the better.

Aspirations Programme

This scheme prevents young people from getting involved in anti-social behaviour by working with them to improve their attitudes and behaviour. We also work with local communities to address the damage caused by crime.
